Blessing of St. Therese of Lisieux

May today there be peace within.

May you trust God that you are
exactly where you are meant to be.

May you not forget the infinite
possibilities that are born of faith.

May you use those gifts that you
have received, and pass on the love
that has been given to you.

May you be content knowing you
are a child of God.

Let this presence settle into your
bones, and allow your soul the
freedom to sing, dance, praise
and love.

It is there for each and every one
of us.

Adult Faith Formation

Parish Faith Formation aims at preparing Catholics for this central mission of evangelizing in the world. In their pastoral plan, Our Hearts Were Burning within Us, the U.S. Bishops affirm that the faith formation of adults “by which they consciously grow in the life of Christ through experience, reflection, prayer and study, must be the central task in the catechetical enterprise, becoming the ‘axis’ around which revolves the catechesis of childhood, adolescence, as well as that of old age.”

There are a variety of ways in which this most important task of Adult Faith Formation is presented at Little Flower Parish:
Small faith groups of six to eight adults are organized with resources for study, prayer and group process. Study materials may include current topics of Catholic faith and practice. Biblical books and Church documents are also popular for group study.
Large and small group presentations that update the parish on new developments, spiritual enrichment and topics of interest are scheduled during the year. Films and other media presentations are additional options for this format.
Individualized learning for personal faith development is supported by parish resources such as books, audio and video tapes, and a variety of pamphlets and bulletin inserts. Guidance for enrolling in distance and computer courses as well as web-based learning is also available.
